Monday, December 6th: Special book signing event at Nostrana

On Jessica Theroux’s journey to Italy she found the soul of the slow food movement in the hearts of twelve grandmothers. She spent a year traveling throughout Italy, cooking and talking with Italian grandmothers.

Miss Theroux compiled a charming and authentic collection of recipes, techniques, anecdotes, and photographs that celebrate the rustic and sustainable culinary traditions of Italy’s most experienced home cooks. Her book, ‘Cooking with Italian Grandmothers’ is sure to delight you! Nostrana is excited to welcome Jessica to Portland, for a special evening of travel tales, special recipes and a warm winter meal.

We hope you’ll join us Monday, December 6th for a 3 course dinner drawn from recipes by Jessica’s grandmothers, a book signing, and to meet Jessica and hear her stories.
