Meet Nostrana: Nicholas Suhor, Wine Director
Wine director Nicholas Suhor started in the restaurant business in New Orleans, where his love affair with Champagne and French wine began in the bistro scene. Hurricane Katrina left him looking for a place to land, and Portland was lucky enough to catch him.

A talented and passionate student of wine, he does a thorough job educating our staff about Italian wine and is grateful to have Cathy Whims’ regional Italian recipes with which to pair.
A graphic designer and IT whiz, we depend on him for many things, including upholding his reputation for best outfits and hair-do on staff.
