Father’s Day Big Fish Dinner

Nostrana and Trout Unlimited will host renowned author/filmmaker Bill
Carter for an exclusive book signing and Father’s Day dinner event to
honor the re-release of his memoir “Red Summer,” which chronicles the
grueling summers he spent as a commercial fisherman in Bristol Bay,
Alaska. ”Red Summer” artfully captures the environmental and social
landscape of one of the world’s most sustainable and pristine salmon
fisheries, which is currently at risk from a proposed open-pit copper
mine project called Pebble. Carter will be available for table-side
discussions from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. for those purchasing the evening’s
3-course wild salmon dinner.
Fettuccine with house smoked salmon, cream and salmon roe
Wild Chinook salmon with orange, pine nut & raisin saor, chive potato
cakes, red pepper pickle
Strawberry gelato with aged balsamico, chocolate shortbread cookies
and chocolate ganache
$50 for dinner and an autographed copy of ‘Red Summer’
